Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question we didn’t answer here? Please call us at 210.923.9141 and our team will be happy to help.

We are open from 7am to 5pm Tuesday through Friday. Our Saturday hours are 7am - 3pm.  We are closed on Sunday and Monday.

We specialize in dogs and cats, but we also offer grooming services for rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small animals.

We offer a variety of grooming services for dogs, including baths, haircuts, nail trims, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, puppy maintenance grooms, hand stripping, de-shed treatments, de-matting, shave downs, flea and tick baths, facials, anal gland expression, and pet-safe creative color services.

Matted coats require extra time, care, and specialized handling to remove safely. If the matting is not too close to the skin, our team can certainly do our best to comb it out and save as much coat as possible. However, de-matting takes additional time, de-matting products, and careful handling — and even when done gently, it can still be uncomfortable for your pet.

In more severe cases, mats can pull tightly on the skin, twist the hair, and may even restrict circulation in the affected area. When matting is too tight or too close to the skin, the safest and most humane option is often to shave the matted hair. Additional fees may apply because de-matting and shave downs require extra time and can cause added wear on grooming equipment, including clipper blades.

Our team will always make recommendations based on what is safest and most comfortable for your pet. Hair grows back, and your pet’s comfort comes first.

Yes. A credit card is required to book all appointments.

We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged a non-refundable $50 fee to the card on file.

Yes. We offer a 10% discount for military, veterans, and first responders with a valid military ID or proof of service.

We also offer discounted grooming services when your pet is groomed by students enrolled in Groomology Institute. Student grooming appointments are a great option for pet parents looking for quality care at a more affordable rate while supporting students as they continue building their professional grooming skills.

Pickup times may vary depending on your pet’s services, coat condition, temperament, and the day’s schedule. Pets dropped off between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM are typically ready around 12:00 PM. Pets dropped off between 8:35 AM and 10:00 AM are typically ready around 4:30 PM.

If you need special arrangements for an earlier pickup, early drop-off, or a later pickup closer to 4:00 PM, please contact our team in advance. We’ll do our best to accommodate when possible, including scheduling our pickup and delivery service if available.

Yes. Our last scheduled pickup time is 4:30 PM, as we close at 5:00 PM. Pets not picked up before closing may be charged a $50 late pickup fee to help cover additional staff time and care. If a pet is left overnight, an additional overnight care fee may also apply.
